Wishing everyone a happy dragon year!

I seriously love my CNY dress this year & I thot it's special with the powder blue and flower prints on it.

This year is special. I met Cliff's grandma for the 1st time & though with the same dialect as me, I am a failure in teochew family. Ha! That's because my Dad has never culture me with speaking Teochew, but, you may test my Hokkien perhaps. Luckily Cliff's grandma can speak a lil mandarin so we still can communicate. Not so bad afterall.

Anyway, as I'm receive the ang baos, almost all the uncles & aunties telling me, "Hope this is the last year giving you ang bao".. Well, is this a form of blessing? I just replied, "Ok, hopefully....." (*Happily having the ang bao in hands & escaped)

Daddy also telling me the same thing & we had our lil chat on the eve. He clearly stated what he wants to see this year & told me that my age is catching up, it's time to get married. I told him.. marriage is about getting together with the right man & it's not about the "right time"... Let's not rush for things. Let's leave it to fate.

I love my family & I hope Cliff enjoys being part of us. I'm grateful that they have been treating Cliff well & wanting him to join in every of our occasions.

This year shall be my turning point. A year that me, the lil rat, gonna live in a better environment & may happiness stay with me.

I always thot if I could handle things appropriately & giving my utmost effort in everything I do, I will be able to get what I want.

Eventually, nope..... I was given disappointment & the most ridiculous unfair treatment I ever could imagine nor ever happened in my life. I guess, everything has to be so sensitive & because of sensitivity, I was & still am receiving the most non-standard way of treatment.

To me, it's an insult

To me, it's an unfair treatment

To me, it is not about business anymore

To me, you are telling me everything done was not being appreciated

To me, you are telling me I've to let go everything I have now

To me, you failed me

To me, you are telling me things are not seen by objectives

I hope, this shall be the last test that God is going to give it to me...

I've grown & I've changed throughout the whole of year 2011. It was a year full of obstacles & I wondered if I "犯太岁" ... So, I've started to be slightly more superstitious such as, to believe in lucky color, lucky number, things I'd shouldn't do...blah blah blah...

The Menu

I've always hesitate to walk into restaurant with set menu as I can't probably choose what I want to eat but this set menu is...... ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS~

Cozy small restaurant is packed, fully booked on the Christmas Eve. It didn't just filled with couples but also people with friends, BFFs & working partners..

They served complimentary drinks: Either a Christmas Cocktails or Sparkling Shiraz

Of cox, Sparkling Shiraz for us~

The decor is very homely, filled up with vintage pictures with structures...

Broth

I didn't use flash in the restaurant as not to disturb others using their romantic meals. So you have to use your imagination to picture the dishes I'm gonna intro below...

The soup made of chestnuts...taste like a lobster soup but sweeter... Yummy~

Main dish: Stewed Wagyu beef . I guess the chef has taken a big challenge to cook Wagyu in stew form instead of steak form. Anyway, it's nice too~

Dessert: The pudding with honey plus abit of the sour taste... Cool~

All in all, we had a good dinner and enjoy ourselves very much. I hope you have a good one too~

Cruise will be the best choice for people who works so much & calls are non stop. No reception, no data access. I love it! Going trip with love is always so distracted as the calls & sms & emails non stop coming in and everyone says "Urgent, pls reply"... Ok, I am grumbling... Well, if I have to be understanding towards others, I hope they also put a little consideration in returns. Haiz... Anyway, things never change... Once we reached Singapore port, he started to on his network... Here comes the sms-essssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.....................

Italy trip - Venice - 15th October 2011

3 years ago, I visited this beautiful city - Venice.......... ..........

And Now... Baby... I'm back!!!!!

I've done things I didn't during the last visit...

That's to take their long historical Gondola........

Sailing within Venice will definitely not lose out to the deep blue sea out their...

They have all the historical and memorable buildings/ architectures that will never be torn down by the governments...

No matter how old, how long...

It is as beautiful as it's there..............

Hotels... Have you ever been to a hotel where you have to sail there....................?

Looking at the buildings.... You need not have to ask the local guides, how long is this building....

Becox, everything you see there is at least a 100years old.........................

Standing at St. Mark's Square.. facing St Mark's Basilica church which was built during 11th century...

The building mostly built with marbles and mosaics but you see the arches and there's yellow colour in painting.... that's not just yellow colour mosaics but 24k gold...

Of course, we have not forgotten about the "mission" we had.........

S H O P P I N G !!!!

Well... you may also end up like me... which one should I go first...........?? Hmm...

You can't really cover all the branded shops in Venice cox you will need to spend lots of time in each of them, looking through the models they have on display....

You may just end up like us by picking a few brands and just buy them.......

Oh.. And don't forget to eat their gelato..... it's definitely very different from the local ones...

Lesson learnt:

-Don't follow our dressing becox Venice is freaking cold during last quarter of the year which I din't expected. I was freezing all the way but shopping motivated me to move on. HA!

- Bring spring spray, mositurizer and lip balm! You need it every now and then

- Carry light and stay low profile to prevent being the victim of pick pocket

- Buy traveling insurance!

Due to the busy schedule I had ever since I'm back from the trip, the updates on the pics can only be found in my FB. For more details... I will be back with more updates on my Italy trip..... :))

The feeling of missing someone always makes things go haywire & also changes the personality of the usual self.

I was away for 5 "good" days and I can't describe how much I miss Cliff from the moment we bid goodbye at the airport. I suddenly feel so incomplete.. so insecure.. so uncomfortable..

I told myself that 5 days will be over soon and trying my best not to think of him so much but no matter what, it doesn't work. Until to one "desperate" moment... I took out our photo from my wallet to ease the abit of missing and my colleagues started to shake head and said.. "OMG"

Till that moment... I realized.............

I left my heart with him.......since a long time ago...

HE, being the only excuse I initially rejected to go for the trip.

That's to prevent hurting myself in the end.

As you know, the higher you expect, the greater you fall..

High expectations comes from the trust given, if you realised.

You might not be the one who put yourself in this situation but someone just got you there, if you know what I meant.

In conclusion, you can never ever rely and handover your life to someone you trust most because it might just fail you one day.

A Closed Chapter

Did I show how lazy I am by posting 1 MTV the previous time? C'mon, I'm sharing the moment of my time and telling you how much I love that song. I explained.

How sweet if you wake up to have greetings from your love who is right beside you...

I had a very good weekend which is yesterday and current, I'm spending lotsa time with love which I had longed for. This is to make up the time I'm flying to Milan this coming Friday midnight-AM flight for a 5-day-long holiday (Pure Play No Work).

Good sleep- Good day- Good breakfast- Good Weekend. Oh-ya! I can't hide neither I could describe how much I love the rain-dance shower here. Yi-Pee! Thanks to my colleague who suggested this place to me.

Thought: The Comparing of Love

My so-called friend once thought that I will only look for boyfriend who has more potential in spending power. Questioning what car he drives, what does he work as, where he lives...... blah blah blah... But end day, does it really matter? You can marry someone who drives a continental, work as a high flyer broker, lives in prime area BUT with high expectation from you, lotsa arguments, criticize you in public, insensitive, leave you at home for his own happy hours... blah blah blah.. ... Is that what you want at the end of the day?

One thing about me, I have too many and too much regrets in life which I don't wanna make the same mistakes anymore. Just from a few years back, I had gave myself a new life, new line, "Never Look Back. Never Compare. A Happier Me"

My BFFs will know this line by now. The true meaning behind it is not to regret of what you have done but to make the future better. Not giving us a chance and waste our time to brood over things which can't be undone. Things we can't changed neither we could re-write the fate, we shall let it go. So if there's a chance to undo anything, I've got nothing. If there's not so much of happenings, I won't be who I am today with my love & BFFs.

Just 2-3days ago, I decided to clear up my wardrobe and threw away whatever I think is unnecessary anymore. I suddenly felt there's so much things I left, kept and ignored. I picked up my courage and faced it, fixed it. I felt much better and I'm really happy with my BFF around who walked through another obstacle with me. How touching. She answered to me the moment I text-ed her, I mean, *drip tears. She gave me all blessing for all decisions I made, the word is "sincere". Yes! I'm here to make people jealous about the friendship I'm having which money can't buy.

For whatever it is, I'm closing another chapter in life will bringing back a brand new Eve very soon. I'm determined, enthusiastic, excited.

I've been meeting the same couple for the last 2 weekends and they were sharing about their love life - work - studies -planning for wedding ...... Just by hearing all these, my mind went dizzy and blank.

"Don't get married just because of marriage and of course, not about the age"

Till date, I still hear people saying "I've reached the age of getting married" or "Let's get married because we are not getting young anymore"

Maybe I will be more convinced with people who say " I wanna get married because I really love him and wanna be with him"

Guy: Dated for 6months - company going to give a "golden handshake" - sponsor galfren for studies -throw banquet next year. How pricey... Is it all necessary? Is it all worthwhile when your galfren mentioned that she's planning how to spend your compensation from the company?

Anyway, stay awake and give it a thought before investing your next half of life to the other.

It is ever the first time someone made me feel that when I say everything, it doesn't really mean EVERYTHING which really made me so guilty for the past few hours till now. I think that some of the things I can't hold on to nor I can grab hold of.

I'm very lost, very disappointed with myself and bringing my mood down to another level. Any chance given? Nope. How and what can I do to compensate? I don't know.

Frustrated with whatever had happened and I think I shall not write further.

Titanium - Ease the Upset

It's my 1st time to Titanium and I left at about 1am? Can't remember, FFL was right, just a few glasses and I'm gone. Ha! The beer is the thing which killed me.

I guess we din take any pics and anyway, I din't make-up last night to club. Only thong my hair which made me look sexy, that's all. I'm not in the least at the mood of going to club but I really have very nice and close-to-heart colleagues whom I can't bear to reject. We got our agency to book 2 tables for us so we can view the Thai girls very clearly. We had lots of drinks and of cox, fun.

I regret for giving up the HTC Likes awards ticket and now when I look into Jayesslee Youtube clip, I think this twins is marvelous, they really sing very very well.

What A Public Holiday

Let me tell you..

I don't know if it's because I was too engrossed with my TV programmes or my blog just got tired of me of vice verse, I accidentally deleted 80% of the template and SAVED TEMPLATE. I was like WTF! No choice, I quickly search into blogskins hopefully to find something which fit into what I want. I've tried like 1,2,3,4,5..... I've miscounted ... and Yes! Found it!

Oh! I finally went to collect my Uni cert yesterday after ...2years! YES! I just din't thought of the cert and transcript until recently I needed it for interview. Gosh! I emailed the alumni officer and managed to get my cert back. The next cert I'm going to collect is Diploma cert. Yayaya! I lost it! I just din't manage to find it so I decided to pay $21.20 to have the replacement.

It is really a good day to slack around with love ones but sad to say, the boy is at home working on his presso for his meeting tomorrow. His meetings and presso is like a never finish stuffs. If one day I were to get jealous, I would probably be envy about his work spending more time with him than me. Ha!

Grandma in memories

Woke up at 7ish this morning to pray my late grandparents.

During the praying session, the memories I had with my grandma slowly came back into my mind. I remembered how she reacted everytime she saw me and the care she given me was so much compared to other cousins. I had never feel the difference actually only until a friend of hers came to her wake and asked, "Which one is Yanting?" My mum pointed at me and the old lady started talking on how much my grandma praised me infront of her friends. I covered my mouth with 2hands and started crying. Suddenly, the loss seemed so much bigger than I could ever imagine.

Anyway, it was 2years already and seemed like everyone has moved on. No more cryings while praying, no more gossiping about my 2 failure uncles.

I know my grandma has never once leave me and she will always be kept deeply in my heart. Though I was given nothing after she left us and one of my uncles took away most of her jewellery, I'm actually contented. I had something that no one can every steal it away from me... that is the memories I shared with my grandma. This is what those idiots can never take it away...

Being Fair..

Is it fair to me?

How many times you have asked this question to yourself or him? What's the meaning of being fair? Are you arguing for the treatment has been given in previous relationship? Or are you only asking for the good not the bad?

There's no solutions to the above statement, the only thing you can do is escape by not giving a chance to think about it. The more you think, the more you sadden. It's not going to end. Apparantly, this will be girls' biggest challenge.

I can't elaborate more but only to talk within me & myself. What a crowd...

With this peace but troubled mood, I came by this blog. Not much of smiles but so much of saddness further.

I wonder what it’s like for you when I’m not around.

I wonder if you miss having me in your passenger seat and holding your hand. Singing along to the song playing and us yelling in the car, just for the fun of it. Making weird noises, talking, laughing, eating, sleeping, or being comfortably silent with each other. Swinging our arms back and forth while our fingers are intertwined. Having your arm held onto for warmth and randomly stopping to hug you in amidst of walking to a destination. Watching you intently with your hands on the wheel, you side-glancing at me every now and then, and kissing you at stoplights. Demanding you to focus on driving and suddenly realizing we like a lot of the same songs. Laughing at jokes and about the most ridiculous remarks. Having pillow fights, tickling each other, and cuddling on your bed. Having me to lay with and messing up your room some more. Occupying all the places that felt empty to you. Story-telling, sharing experiences, talking about nonsense, and saying little sentiments in our own way, mentioning things around others that only we could understand. Just smiling, happy, the entire time we’re together.

Do you ever notice my absence like I notice yours? Does it hit you hard or just as much as it bothers me? Does your hand feel lonely without mine the way I feel it without you here? Does seeing couples in public remind you of me the way it reminds me of you? Does it make you miss me the way it makes me miss you? Do you sing quietly to yourself and actually pay more attention to the road? Does your mind wander and make its way back to me when you’re alone the way you float around in my thoughts more often than not? Is it colder without me—are you smiling as much as when I’d be with you?

I had a few rounds of dinner dates and I am still claiming.......

A standard thing to do when my birthday is near is to dine at Lawry's. I din't plan for it nor I set this standard rule. Just that Lawry's will send me the 1-for-1 voucher which I can't possibly resist.

Good thing is, my love is also a beef lover like me and that's the reason which he will never reject me on steak, ribeye, wagyu.. whatsoever.. It is really important that you and your partner must have something common in likes or activities in order to maintain the relationship, although I now opposite attracts. Don't push for things to happen, don't make yourself do unnecessary sacrifices. Love yourself first & you will know how to love others.

I was in office on my birthday due to I've got to settle some work before I going for a half day leave.

To make my half morning of work worthwhile, my colleagues gave me a shock and surprise.

1st. They hided in a meeting room and off all the lights... waiting for my arrival. Where was I?

I was still working at my desk and din't realise half the world was gone... Then, they assigned an indoor sales to ask me for meeting...

Pictures tell a thousand stories.

I was browsing through my photobucket albums & found some really good memories, such as family event. My eldest cousin created a group in FB for us, the cousins, to form the unity and bonding. Well, I can't say that our relationship is not as strong but it is more of adults issues which we had previously that had created the gap between families. I'm really glad that he has created this group and added us all in. We shared our memories & I also shared the pictures I had taken previously in some family events. They are sweet. They are love. They are my life.

For this reason, I've been very active in FB to check if there's conversation I left out and to view pictures they've uploaded. A good objective I feel.

Life-update. Very static and waiting for a chance to be what I want to be. Okay, besides being wanted to be Rosie Huntington. I want to move on to a different environment. I mean work.

Once I ever thought, "Why am I getting the best of both worlds?"

Maybe I can't work concentrate in both but only one. God is fair, I ever said. I'm fated not to be the luckiest person on earth. Or should I put in more effort to balance the whole equation? Does it work? Is God or human out there giving me a chance to prove myself? Well, I'm not giving up definitely. I might have said some discouraging words and tweet about it, don't get me wrong, I am only giving myself a break then move on to be stronger.

Or am I not being satisfied? Being having a job position where bosses have the full faith in me & not being micro-managed. Having the flexibility at work is what a lot of people might want to have. Into a relationship which boyfriend is (*he called at this moment while I was writing this line), ok, my boyfriend is definitely the loveliest in the world. Being sensitive to what I want is all that I'd ever need.

The thing is, "What the hell I want?"

Work is part of life, if you were to agree with me.

We can't be working just for money and not for happiness, vice versus, we can't just work for happiness and not for money. It's difficult to have best of both worlds but you at least need to weigh which is more important in your life. It's your perception & perspective.

I've been facing irritating people all this while but there's this particular person who will never EVER be in my good book. I pity people who live just to create issues in other people's life. I pity people who has little friends and no BFF. I pity people who always on ONS and no one wanna date her in formal. I pity people who only know how to cry and no solutions to issues. I pity God who people worship them, helping them to clear sin and yet these people still continue to create the same mistakes in life. I pity.....

The only thing I can do is to continue to take her shit and prevent things from happening. I'm sad that she doesn't know how to appreciate people's hard work & create more issues to demoralise people. I'm not here to play politics and only know how to act busy for bosses to see, neither I'm here to send email at 2am to tell people I'm superb hardworking. These are all craps. I hope one day I could send this blog entry to her boss and expose her. I'm amazed how God has been helping her one time and the other just because she's on veg every 1st & 15th in lunar month. I just cant imagine.

As I'm climbing higher, the steps getting steeper. My life is not getting anywhere and the path seems darker. So, I do hope, my short break ahead will once light up my life, totally. I had a day full of meetings and nothing has come to an end which I want it to be.

I believe, we, sometimes dun need to learn nor listen to all areas. Ignorance is bliss. I really had become more and more reluctant towards work, I really do. I think of unfair treatments & blaming whoever above for giving better luck to others but not me. Yes! I am agitated.

I've been thinking to clear off my leave one shot, take unpaid, take mc which are all not my style. Now I believe, just do whatever you "think" you can and never try to strive for the best. End day, you are only getting more work and stress.

Well, I'm opened, for wars and questionings. Moreover, action speaks louder than words.

How you spend your V.Day? Well, I did wish my BFF & some friends cox I treat it as a friendship day too!

When it comes to V.Day, my office will be flooded with bouquets from colleagues' mates or suitors. Sad to say, I've got none. I got to admit, I do get excited if I do receive one but if there's none.... So be it. He actually convinced me with all his behaviour that I won't be able to receive one & I fell into his plot. He surprised me at Grand Corpthone's carpark where we were there to attend a CNY lunch. And then I knew, he remembered whatever I've told him before........

I've been strongly introduced by someone to read this book and it was being described as "amazing" as possible, as "incredible" as it could be. To ease the time consuming process, I "googled" instead of reading the book.

It was a book written by Joseph Harris, published in year 1997. It was then famous as it was talking about a different way of courting and being in relationship. An argumentative topic towards relationships which are always following rules, principles or even desires created by mates. BUT! In short, he was just trying to tell us to "postpone dating". Why? Because he was only 21 when he wrote this book. He thought we should spend more time with God before we actually get attached.

I don't think this book is telling us not to date but not to be so possessive before committing & also to understand more people around us to increase GK in life. It is also to fight the lack of freeness between men and women in cultivating friendships. Just to make life/ relationships a healthier one.

The hope behind it was that other singles would be helped by some of the lessons I was learning. Most people have an opinion about "that book about not dating." Some love it; others despise it. - I don't wash my face with facial products in early morning if am not working. (I do brush my teeth though) *I'm lazy

- A coffee is a must every morning before 12noon strikes else I will have headache

- I've been using Dove shampoo & conditioner for the past decades and only recently I use Liese as hair moisturizer after drying up my hair

- I watch HK drama series from 9am to 1pm every Sat & Sun on Channel 855

- My hokkien is damn lousy poor. Ungraded

- I had long hair for the past 5years

- In fact, I would love to tie my hair but I let it down to cover my chubby face

- My favourite nail colours are deep purple/ red/ nude pink

- I do weekly manicure

- I love heels and jeans

- Havaianas flip flop is my love

- I dislike my Samsung notebook

- I love Cliffy's bedroom which gives a hotel feel

- I would like to skate if mummy allows. I had a bad fall few years back and walked like an old lady for 2months!

Have you every meet someone with some characteristics problems but overall, she's nice. Yes, I mean overall.

Sometimes, we can't look at things in overall and neglecting the details. It is the same logic like "seeing the big picture and not the small".

I'm upset with bosses having all the confidence in me and assume I should be able to handle this person where I'm really giving up, at the edge of whatever.

I've spent the past 1 year to befriend but I guess it doesn't work. I'm the one who's facing the issues every single day which includes weekends and I'm unhappy. I know, I should just find a job rather than sitting here every single day grumbling to myself. "Dear Eve, why must u tolerate this kind of person with weird attitude and very much a emotional freak (than I do!)?" But it's not easy to come across a job with interest. It's just a person I am unhappy about.

I am definitely not seeking for anyone's help, yes i don't. I do hope God above will do some adjustments and make her a better person, e.g. find her a boyfriend? less stressful work?

Anyway, I should conclude, someone without a relationship will behave differently in certain sense. (Unless u r attached to God)

One week down!

My BB was down for the past 1 week and I left it with my technical head. I've changed my SIM Card and sent my phone for checking, nothing seems to go wrong but once they are put together, down!

It gave me a feeling that if things wanna happened, no matter what you do, no matter what it means, it will just go wrong!

Sometimes things in life just can't be what you want even if you have planned. But God planned, to take some things away from you and also to give you some other things in return.

After a week of BB down, finally I took back today PLUS "Love" got me a Galaxy Tab. I feel blessed and full of happiness. It's not the value counts but the effort. He always think for me and place me 1st in his heart. I may not be number One in other places but I know, I'm always number One in "there". I'm sure, YOU are the Number One in your love's heart too! That is something you know No one can replace you and NEVER can someone have ability to take it away from you. True?

Anyway, you should be happy about whatever you have and be contented with whatever "he" can give and provide you with. Even if it's just a card, at least effort made. :) I AM! I AM! Easily contented =)

Pushing Blame

Pushing blame, does it make you feel much better?

I don't know. I happened to have this thought when I was bathing and thinking of an incident which happened last week.

A friend was being asked to return office for an incomplete task which he told me he had seek for his superior's advice before submitting. He was then fed up and furious about how incompetent his superior is who gave him wrong advice. Apparantly, this supposed to be an important report required from the staffs yearly.

He all along knew how bad his boss is where he complained to me several times so I thought he should have seek for other colleagues' advices instead. He shouldn't have push the blame to his useless boss, right?

But I was thinking, by pushing blame, does it make one feel better?

- No, it's not my fault. I did asked my boss for advice. He's at fault TOTALLY. In this case, I won't feel bad about myself. Ya?

I wonder, how many of us do that? To be frank, I don't. I will always take mistakes as lessons instead of pushing blame around makes me feel like a lousy person. BUT! BUT! BUT! Sometimes with pushing blame around, you will be a happier person and you try all means to convince people (including yourself!) that you are not wrong which implies "YOU ARE ALWAYS RIGHT"

Are you... in this dilemma?

What A Start for A Brand New Year

I've actually got 2 blog entries waiting to be posted after some editing but I think things changed after I went to the Buddhist Master. I guess whatever resolution mentioned in my entry were all rubbish.

I've never ever believe or should I say follow whatever they have said though it was my 3rd time "asking" what would happened in future. To my very much surprise, everything is so negative or should I say I take them negatively.

"She" told me about my job which I've always have concern on and care the most. It's demoralising to know that something bad will happen but it might not be the worst. See how you position it. It might be a relieve to me but am not ready to make any changes now. I guess no one understand, not even the very closed ones.

It's upsetting that I've put in so much effort and gaining this kind of returns. I was thinking, "If I haven't been that curious, I won't land up in this situation now." Keep having negative thots everyday and bringing me nowhere.

I don't wish and don't want to be reminded that bad omen will happened, I mean, I've already had something in mind but please, don't remind me in reality. To others it might not be a bad thing after all but to me, it may mean lots. The reason of don't wish to be reminded is that I don't wanna be stressed by "it" every now and then AND I don't want to keep having thots and do my job badly.

It's stressful. It's tiring. Very much I wanna do well here but is "God" hinting me something........

How's Christmas everyone? I really do hope you had a great time having to spend with family and love ones.

I missed PCC's yearly event again! =X I've got to admit I skipped 4 out of 5 times for the past 5years. Gosh!

Having to spend 2nights in 2 different hotels was quite an experience. I've got to say we spent quality time together having to share laughter and joy was the greatest thing in life. I mean, your life is double happiness where you get to laugh with your love ones, don't ya?

But, I can say I'm very lucky to have all the colleagues who always share this joyful holiday with me. I love their pressies which include pouch, shirt, accessories, mask, hand cream, keychains, etc...

New Year is coming and colleagues have already planned for some countdown gatherings on Friday. Great to have them!

I Love Christmas!

I'm blogging from one of the hotest hotels in Singapore, Merchant Court Singapore. The room is free from Cliffy's colleague & I thought this could be part of our Christmas presents. How nice... We will be moving to another hotel tomorrow which we had booked earlier on...

Weather's getting colder, everyone please take care...wear more clothes ya. (*sounds like as if we were in cold countries...) Well, the drizzle seems to be almost everyday, if u notice...

I bought a total of 40 pressies this year just for my colleagues and that excludes my dear friends who we decided to exchange gifts just before new year to wish each other a good start of 2011. What a sweet idea.

I was on leave since yesterday but still, had to wake up at 7ish to prepare for a meetup at Boon Lay. I did curls again after getting the "tips" from Christine and I tried it out, it works!

With Cliffy who is on leave for 3weeks. *Envy!

Okay, how many times have you heard me saying that I'm sick? This is going to be the ONE LAST TIME.

Sleepless night yesterday and bad dreams to make it worst. Why is it so? Stress? I wonder.

I'm really happy with my life now with Cliffy and I thought he might be the most wonderful man in the world. Though there are flaws in the relationship and I thought I'm quite strong to get over it. Everythings' so dramatic and I guess not a single soul understand how much stress I've been through to be able to get in this stage. I'm glad I made it and a level up! I'm so impressed with myself. YES! Myself!

Despite the sickness, I'm still very much enjoying my life with friends & family & of cox, love.

Side track, "Give love a break" <-- A brand is using this quote and I wonder why! Uncle Mel intro me to Admiral @ Singapore Flyer. You may REALLY wanna try it cox it's romantic and views are marvelous!

I love my homeland more and more with all the places built up, MBS, Flyers, USS and also not forgetting the upcoming Garden by the Sea! It's incredible! It's AMAZING! After I knew they will have this mushroom-like towers built and you actually able to dine there, it's definitely lovely!

Admiral is outdoor dining, chilling, grilling... It's a place with good live band, people and food..atmosphere.. A place definitely worth trying out!

Yes. I'm sick still and the flu doesn't seem to go away. Chu asked me to have a half day leave resting at home despite she's so far away at Korea now. She sms-ed me in the morning to check if I've recovered. *sweet. And maybe I've got no coffee today, it makes the condition worse. I will defnitely get over it within the next few days!

We have always expecting something out of our bfs. Well, today we shall look from their views, what they expect from their gfs (us).

- A good listener (Not)
When he's talking about technology/ mobiles/ cars/ house/ soccer/ F1/ watches which of cox, they will never mention LV/ Prada/ Miu Miu/ Kate Spade etc.. they hope we will share the same taste/ view as them and give them the very "enthusiastic" look which really sometimes, it's difficult to bring that out of us. Not only the look you need to "provide", you will ALSO need to share your views! This make the whole conversation a tougher one.

- Spend precious time with them
What I mean "precious" time? It means when they are watching their programmes, they want us to join in and watch with them like how they accompany us (by sleeping on your lap) through our drama-mama series when we tear all the way.

- Stop Grumbling (But men do!)
They dislike their women to grumble like how their mama do but surveys have shown that men actually choose their partners who are closest to their heart (comfort zone) and most of the time, it's like their mama. Sad to say, they never realise it. So, what they exactly want from us? I can say, most men grumble like hell, more than I do!

- Give opinions (which will never be accepted)
Having problems/ dilemmas about what to have for lunch/ dinner? Girls will have the most opinions/ suggestions. Men would actually ask "What you wanna have for dinner?"
Gal: "Sushi!"
Man: "Hmm, why not we have the hokkien mee at East Coast hawker centre?"
Gal: "-_-" (Thot: So why do you ask in the 1st place?")
It can be quite frustrating sometimes becox he will "indirectly" force you to suggest something and in the end eliminate it.

- Never waste food
We might sometimes over ordered food so we thought, "Waste is better than to put on the extra weight" But they would say," Hey dont waste food and it's okay to eat a little bit more since you are not fat" .. With the magical sentence out from your love's mouth, okay, I will finish it. By then, weight gained and he would say, "Gal, it's time to go for walk to keep fit."

- Movies

That's saddening.

Never ever exchange a gift he bought for you, you will hurt him badly and you will end up with no gifts in the future! Let's say, he bought u a LV bag which the design is not the one you adore. They are never hard to please. If they like eating bread, forever they like eating bread. Even if you can't cook, make them bread with peanut butter, it's their all time favourite =) OR even, a carton of Hoegarden, they will love you more. Did I ever mention I went to Anime Festival 2weeks ago?

I'm glad that Singaporeans are so actively involved especially those who really loves anime. Those cosplays were fantastic and I feel we should encourage more for these to brighten up make our boring life (Though Jap is still the best). Given a chance, I would like to dress up like one of the 2 pretty gals in Macross. ha!

You know, I watched Macross & Bleach... But I din't finished them... stories are way too long and it's never ending...

I'm never into anime but of cox are those sexy dressing which interest me but sad to say, none wear like maid nor stewardess. =X

I'm down with very bad sore throat.. which is always the case. It is that bad till doctor has to prescribe antibiotics to fight the virus. I asked the doctor why this is always happening and for the next few days, my voice will "go on holiday". He explained due to weak immune system and in order to strengthen immune system, here are the things you can also do:

- Intake Vitamin C
- Exercise
- Prevent going to crowded places
- Have enough rest/sleep
- Drink plenty of water

He has been very patience and trying his very best to participate in every of mine family occasions despite his busy schedule. We had a busy weekend: Friday- Cousin Pearlyn's Birthday Party. Saturday- God Mummy's Birthday dinner & chill. Sunday: Dim Sum with family & dinner at Grandma's house. He's been very good boy(*keke), didn't complain that it is boring nor waste of time. I appreciate much.

I think the best thing about being happy is to feel sence of contented with whatever you have. "Never compare, never look back, a happier me" I wonder if you've ever seen this in my msn.

Having to be jealous over with whatever people are having and you don't, it's not gonna work. And just because you don't have, doesn't mean you can penalise nor criticise others to make them look bad. I think this is an act of stupidity.

Engine broke down.....

I woke up with warm hand touching my forehead this morning. It's mummy! Checking if I'm running fever or not. Very touched. She's been very sweet.

I came back home last night with a pack of medicines on my hand. The 1st thing she did was to check on my medicine and see what illness I'm having. It's great to have her and makes me feel great with her little actions.

She's such a dear to me. And never fail to entertain my "self-shoot" entertainment.

My Saturday definitely has been ruined by the stock takes & Expo show but not my Sunday. I went for a jog in the morning for distress, met up Dearie from noon onwards.

Tokyo trip is round the corner and I've yet to collect my luggage from my auntie. I wonder how big should I get from her but Mummy says 26inch should be enough. Really?...
Seriously, I can't feel the excitement yet but only the sadness about not seeing my Dearie for 8days. It's rather upsetting. =( He's going Korea for biz trip just at the time I touch down to homeland on 18th. uh...................

A great dinner with buddies!

Kai booked our all time favourite restaurant "Ma Maison" for our gathering. I'm happy to see them and of cox, Jun Xian who happened to be as fun as ever. We are all camera freak and I thot I can "hao lian" my dual screen Samsung ST500 but....... Xian took out Nikon B200.. Boo~hoo....

Anyway, some fun pics we had.......

I had a good laugh with them & definitely enjoyed as much as I could. It feels so good to meet up with friends who share laughters. It doesn't need to be a consistent meet up but we still click as ever. To recall, Xian, Matt & Kai are not even my ex classmates but the school mates next door. Its been a month since I last blogged.

A peaceful night view from The Loof.

2days ago I went to SupperClub and I feel that its really not a good place to go if you were to wear skirts becox of the stairs. Gosh! Anyway, didn't stay long at Supper Club, went to the Loof for a short drinks with PCC people and Seagate people. Though was really heart-broken that night but I slept very soon after lying on bed. Thanks to the drinks.

Before going to The Loof, was actually at Orchard Hotel for Bernard & Yane's wedding banquet.

Driving in the rain.. hopefully the rain will be able to wash away all my sorrow...

Hi Everyone!

I'm really fine at this moment.

Sometimes I just feel that everything is so drama-tic and ironic. Just becox of the hurt you've got from the previous r/s doesn't mean the current one will do the same to you. Its very unfair and unhealthy to the current r/s becox the fault doesn't lies on the current ones.

Anyway, I've been living with it for the past 4 years and understand that why Ray doesn't treat me as nice as all the other galfrens he had before. Becox of the previous "issues" and he felt that if the gal wanted to leave, she will just leave no matter how nice he treated her. So I'm just happen to be the suay one whom he treated the worst and he threw me a line "If you aren't prepared to be with me forever, then we shall not continue". The thing is that "Do you think it's fair to me?" "Hey! I was not the one who broke your heart before." Anyway, this was said 4years ago but I just accepted it and live till today.

Recently I met this guy whom had the same incident and told me he got no confident to step into the r/s becox of the ex-gf. C'mon guys! Can you all have more courage to face life!

Maybe I'm just being very true and fair to myself who will treasure every moment I had and every chances given.

Blog during work

I didn't want to blog during working hours but you know, our system has been down-ed for the last 3hours and there's nothing I could do.

MIS is so lousy. Hump!

I'm so prepared to finish my paperwork by today so I could have some spare time for tomorrow and Friday. I'm really very drained out.

I'm in meeting room now with 2 heads and they discussed business as if I'm not here or what! I believed I'm not supposed to be here, ha!

You see la! They trust me so well or they simply wanna use the room I've booked.

Chu said I looked in L.O.V.E. and I totally agreed. And I told her I'm in love with my GM infront of my GM. HA! Which obviously is a joke!

But the "him" just called me... opp =X

The Need of Self Control

Yes. I got to know how to clear up the mess I've made...
-too much $$ spent
-unhealthy food
-very minimum amount of water drank

Too much work recently and too little time spent on myself.
I don't wanna be meeting queen!

BUT!

Recently I have a new reason to go work, a new motivation. HA! Alright, nothing to boost and shouldn't be high profile on it.

Too many people asked me on my FB status and all I can say is "Please don't worry. I haven't got dumped yet"

I had too many business partners/ scandals/ lovers in my FB and I wanna keep my personal life low profile. Too many questions about my r/s and I hate answering them like I've got to report or what. I hate explaining my personal life to others who doesn't concern me. That's all.

I wanna love myself more, love my life more...
